1.e4 c5 This seems like the right choice. [Don considered 1...e6 & a French but, from what I've seen, he doesn't do well againt the Tarrasch (see Minkov - Carrelli : Checkmate Championship 2008, 1-0 in 17) & his opponent has struggled with the Sveshnikov (See Mangion - Patrucker : GSCL 2009).]
