Black has the better prospects on the kingside, while the center and queenside are closed. He will play Rae8, Qd8, and Bc8 directing his forces to the kingside with the eventual plan of f5. Black has done well from this position in practice.

15. dxe6?! fxe6

The open f-file proves White's undoing.

16. Nbd2 e5!?

An interesting move, blocking the Bishop at g7 and weakening the d5 square in exchange for total control of dark squares.

17. Rad1 Nb8 18. Nf1

18... Rxf3!

A thematic exchange sacrifice to blow open the White king position. Black now brings all his forces to the kingside.

White resigns since Black must win eventually, e.g.:

26. Bxh5

26. fxe5 Bg2+!

26... Qxh5 27. Qd3 Bg4

with deadly threats.
